A Regional Operator looks after a dedicated region and acts as the Scottish Business Cooperatives representative for the area.  Regions mirror local authority areas and cover every corner of Scotland from Dumfries & Galloway all the way up to the Shetland Isles.  The R.O role involves onboarding new members (businesses, clubs, organisations), gathering information on their business essential service & operating costs, generating Savings, Recommendations & Rewards reports (SRR Reports) and matching them up to suitable, more effective Cooperative supply panel products.  As well as membership and account growth & development, the R.O role is heavily focussed on cost management  ensuring their members have access to fair, transparent and affordable products & services.  The R.O will manage their own member base ensuring they provide ongoing member support adding value to them and their businesses.  Alongside bringing on new members, the success of the R.O will also be heavily driven by growing existing member accounts by identifying new opportunities through effective pipeline management.  The R.O will also be responsible for retention by maintaining high levels of member satisfaction and by effectively managing product & service renewals.  R.O's will have the support of the in-house contracts and support teams to help and support the R.O in growing their regional membership base.   The Regional Operator role offers the opportunity to start your own business with a solution that is ready to go when you are!

How much you earn depends on how much you put in to the business, like anything else in life, you get out what you put in.  We will give you all the tools, training and ongoing support to ensure your local chapter is a success.  The success of the Cooperative relies on the size of our member base, so we want you to be successful so you can be sure we are with you every step of the way.

Earnings are achieved by way of revenue share on each product and service your members sign up to.  We pay up-to 70% revenue share to you as a Regional Operator and partner.  A full revenue share document will be shared with all applicants following signing a non disclosure agreement.

As a Regional Operator, we do expect minimum performance levels to be met.  As such, we would expect Operators who are meeting minimum standards to earn the following:

• Year 1:  £65,000 plus bonuses and residual profit share

• Year 2:  £95,000 plus bonuses and residual profit share

• Year 3:  £125k plus bonuses and residual profit share

Beyond the third year, earnings can be significant as you will be entering into renewal windows and will earn revenue share on new business plus revenue for renewals.

The Regional Operator role does not require any specific experience or qualifications as we will provide full product training.  

What is more important that experience to be successful in the Regional Operator is having a great personality & rapport building skills, a good analytical & problem solving mind, entrepreneurial flair, a good work ethic and resilience.  If you bring this to the role, we will teach you the rest.  Although not required, candidates with experience in the following sectors would be preferred:

• Banking & Finance
• Retail 
• Utilities
• Licensing trade
• Hospitality

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a basic disclosure Scotland check.  

Proof of Eligibility to live and work in the UK will also be required for successful applicants.
